Led by a fantastically creepy and badass Dan Stevens, 'The Guest' is a surprising grab bag of several types of movies. It's an action thriller for a significant chunk of its runtime, but then its climax sits firmly in cheesy 80's horror territory.
It's bizarre, and it's brilliant.
