160727: I'm continuously surprised at film ratings and what some people consider good entertainment. This film slowly chipped away at any enthusiasm I may have had and then ultimately crushed my spirit by plagiarizing the final scene from a truly fantastic film Leon: The Professional (1994).
The Guest offers nothing new or original. It suffers from some poor acting and weak characters. Only Brendan Meyer is worth mentioning and his character's strengths are sadly underplayed.
