Sadly, a clever idea for a plot is badly let down by the hopelessly inadequate efforts of Ms James to showcase her acting talents , or perhaps she was successfully showcasing them. Even the work of Mr Housman, Tom Courtenay and, despite her paucity of appearances, Ms Jessica Brown Findlay is not enough to rescue this project.
Ms Wilton dutifully contributes both her expressions but, alas, even they are not enough to justify the time lost viewing this film.
