As bland as The Guersey Literary and Potato Pie Society May be, the film manages to find some redemption in a charismatic performance by Lily James. Be that as it may, I am still questioning the films worthiness for the big screen as I can?t help but feel it would?ve been better suited as a tv drama miniseries.
The material is there but it translates awkwardly and the more compelling elements of the story are sadly predictable.
