Review of The Guardian (2006) by Tånya R — 30 Jun 2010
However predictable this movie might have been, it was really not too bad. Even though I knew the main characters would survive or not survive, the suspenseful parts still gripped me.
Lessons in saving others' lives and letting go of the ones you can't save were handled well. I did like that part of the story.
However, no matter how many times the movie industry thinks it can randomly add "love" scenes just to make it more interesting (can't you see the teenagers saying "ooohh, Ashton Kutcher"?), I can't support that. That just made the movie annoying.
