Review of The Guardian (2006) by Adam K — 03 Sep 2010
We've seen films on Firemen, Police Officers, Astronauts...whatever. Coast Guard? Not so many spring to mind. The plot has been used before. Older guard, looking to pass to the younger guard, but older don't care for younger and younger doesn't seem to know why.
..But no matter the sense that you think you've seen this before, it's still an interesting look at what goes into becoming a member of the coast guard and the overall good performances from Kevin Costner and Ashton Kutcher, make this a pretty good movie to get a hold of and watch.
