Review of The Guardian (2006) by Peter P — 01 Oct 2012
Overall a pretty good movie, the acting is solid all around, Ashton was really good actually, and I watched the special features and man did he work his butt off for this part, he is starting to grow up.
The story is pretty cool, the rescue guys are pretty much insane to do what they do, but I am sure the people they rescue are happy they are. Sure, there are a bunch of stereotypes in this movie, but that is ok sometimes.
The action was also pretty impressive, all the water and boat stuff looked great. Lastly it was nice to see Clancy "I am the Kurgen" Brown in a good movie.
