Review of The Guard (2011) by Bob C — 28 Jan 2012
Brendan Gleeson is great in this Oirish mash-up of 'In The Heat of The Night' and 'Bad Lieutenant', whilst Don Cheadle is the fish-out-of-water constantly frustrated by the locals. It's not as hilarious as the reviews would have you believe, and the ending didn't quite work for me, but it's never less than enjoyable.
