Review of The Guard (2011) by Trevor H — 01 Feb 2012
The Guard is a raucous, violent comedy that takes place in Ireland. Now, let this be a warning, it's a little hard to understand all that is being said because of the thick irish accent. But I think you'll get used to it.
Brendan Gleeson is great in this role, and strikes great chemistry with Don Cheadle. I highly recommend this film, but be on your guard because the language comes fast, there is a lot of swearing (and I mean a lot), and it's hilarious to the point of crying.
