Review of The Guard (2011) by Lee H — 18 Jun 2012
Gleeson is brilliant in this dark comedy about a local law officer on a small Irish town who stumbles on big job lead by a big gang. He is sharp,witty, sometimes naive but has an authority that shouldn't be underestimated.
Mark Strong stands our from the supporting cast and Cheadle has good chemistry with Gleeson and is a likeable character. A great little film.
