Review of The Grudge (2004) by Andreas O — 25 Apr 2011
Americanization of japanese horror. Jump-scare driven yet surprisingly effective while it lasts, even if the need for a second viewing is low and the staying power is nominal at best. If anything, it might induce an irrational fear of wide-eyed emo kids.
A couple of neat scenes make it worth it, though.
