Review of The Grudge (2004) by Ruhan R — 20 Aug 2011

I didn't like this film due to the main reason why I don't like the majority of horror movies-it wasn't scary and it was overly predictable. Sure it was light on gore, which would have been acceptable if it could have made me jump just once.

The Haunted House archetype has been recycled way too many times, it doesn't make a difference if it's a Japanese house. At least the acting wasn't complete shit, but no performance is strong enough to give light to a plot this lame.
