Unfortunately, The Grinch was doomed from the moment Illumination decided to remake it. I enjoyed the first Despicable Me, however, the studio now thinks that all they have to do is slap a minion in the trailer and they are golden.
The jokes fall flat, the story is odd and the mean one is not mean! Plus, who thought Tyler, The Creator would be a good artist to redo the title song?! This was the only movie from 2018 that I thoroughly wanted to walk out of.
