Review of The Grinch (2018) by Jack O — 02 Dec 2018
Since that I love Christmas so much, there is another adaptation by Dr. Seuss and a studio who brought you by Despicable Me, Illumination. The third adaptation of the Christmas tale, The Grinch. And we all know how this goes.
The Grinch is the sort of Scrooge kind of character who hates Christmas and was planning a scheme to steal it. The only thing that really got to me is Benedict Cumberbatch playing The Grinch. He's really good as The Grinch and much like Boris Karloff and Jim Carrey, he's hilarious in this.
Many people prefer the original cartoon for it's charm and most of them prefer the Jim Carrey version and they would decide what is better. Me and my friends had been to see this in the cinemas and we enjoyed it and the only one who enjoys this the most is Sam Guy.
I can see the look on his face and I can tell that he really enjoys it much like the Jim Carrey version and his favourite part in the Jim Carrey version is "Now pucker up and kiss it, Whoville! Boi-yoi-yoi-yoing!" Most of the Christmas films are really enjoyable because we love Christmas and for this one, it's really nothing special but I really liked it for it's Christmas charm and I enjoyed Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayal of The Grinch.
This one will keep the younger viewers and adults interested for the Christmas treat.
