The 1966 animated classic 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas' is a timeless classic, so it's hard to top. This movie did it better justice than Jim Carrey's 2000 adaption and didn't get the credit it really deserved.
I loved the modernization of elements from the previous films. He had a full on workshop, multiple gadgets, and a relatable backstory. It also didn't dive too deep into his life like the 2000 adaption did.
The humor in the movie is well timed and it's full of joy, laughter and holiday Grinchy grumpiness. I really enjoyed this movie. I'm in the mood for eggnog...
