Review of The Grifters (1990) by Adam S — 01 Sep 2008
The Grifters starts out as being a fun, easy to watch flick about three small time con artists who are closely affiliated, and suddenly takes a very dark and serious turn and becomes totally engrossing, delving into the personal conflicts of these three very different individuals who have difficulty in dealing with their competing priorities.
The three leads are all very good, with the two ladies each delivering very memorable performances.
