Everything in this film is leading towards a very obvious ending. In this case, that's not a bad thing. From the very beginning, you can see the cliff you're going to drive off of, and it still managed to shock/surprise me.
Unfortunately, I didn't like to much else about this one. Maybe it will grow on me, with a few more watches.
