Review of The Grey Zone (2001) by Annie C — 18 May 2008
By using mostly focused/zoom in shots and the gray colored tone, Grey Zone created such a claustrophobic feel which made this film even more depressing than some other Holocaust films. The film stayed quiet till the end, the characters were very engaging, and the ending was so shocking but so peaceful, made us felt completely hopeless - which achieved the purpose of the film.
