Review of The Grey (2012) by Kevin C — 18 Mar 2013

This movie bounces back and forth between a gut-wrenching, well-acted survival drama, and a ridiculous and inconsistent survival thriller. I got the feeling that Liam Neeson acted his heart out, only to find out later that much of his efforts were diminished by an abundance emotional non sequiturs.

I'd say it's worth a watch, but it's neither a great thriller nor a decent drama. If you're looking to be entertained for a 1.5hrs, then this'll do the trick.
