Review of The Grey (2012) by Pierluigi F — 27 May 2013
A captivating journey about man's desire and fight to survive. In my opinion, this was one of Liam Neeson's finer performances. Full of grit and adventure, this film never felt tired, boring or became predictable.
The Grey's visual splendor and arduous journey make for an amazing back drop on a film that exposes weaknesses and delves deep into a person's every fiber. The film has a familiar plot and circumstance but digs deeper into character and has more heart than most.
Highly recommended -- 8/10.
