Review of The Grey (2012) by Xander H — 19 Jul 2013
Very predictable, all the way to those annoying talks about god that remind me of a post-season-3 episode of House M.D. There's even a typical rebel asshole character who thinks everything and everyone sucks, until Liam Neeson calls him out on his crap, after which he admits he was just scared and immediately becomes a decent dude.
Movie is way too long with way too little going on. I watched about 40 minutes of this movie in earnest, but then started fast-forwarding just to see who died and the general process in which Neeson becomes last-man-standing. If I just spoiled anything for you, then you would have had a much better time watching this than I did. Don't pay money for this, watch it online so you can skip around. Or rent it with your girlfriend so you won't even have to pretend to not be interested in the movie.
