Review of The Grey (2012) by Henry F — 30 Apr 2014
A surprisingly good film about a fight for survival. Liam Neeson gives a good performance, but he's had a lot of practice, as he plays the same character in almost every film he's ever done. It has some dumb moments, aka most of the first half, but in the end of the second act all of that is forgotten (but not excused) and is replaced with some very good scenes; in which the action takes a back seat to some great character focus.
If the whole film was like it is towards the end, it would of been pretty great.
