Not unlike the 1997 movie "the edge", this is a solid man vs nature survival movie. Neeson is very good as the broken man at the heart of the picture, and the movie is well made with its sense of sheer cold and inhospitablity making the very evident danger of the surroundings all too clear. Well worth a look, and not overly Hollywoodised either which adds more substance to a movie that could have ended up with next to none in less capable hands.
