Review of The Grey (2012) by Luke B — 25 Oct 2014
Surprisingly powerful film. I expected a popcorn action Liam Neeson flick but I came out of the viewing very surprised. It was a very philosophical film musing on suicide and life. Although it sounds pretentious, it is a very well-acted film, with Liam Neeson being excellent as the harmed and emotional compromised citizen.
Neeson is the very heart of the movie and thrills are to be found throughout. A gripping survival movie.
