Review of The Grey (2012) by Erin S — 07 Jan 2015
This movie is much deeper than its surface. There is a lot of philosophical meaning to it that had me thinking for a while. Liam Neeson is an incredible actor, truly. Though he occasionally gets cast in a mediocre film, it's movies like this that bring me back to why I like him so much.
The movie showed wolves as dangerous animals, and it portrayed humans the same way. We're all just animals in this world, fighting to survive. As the movie becomes bleaker and bleaker, I felt more and more despair for the characters.
This movie was very emotional, very strong, and very meaningful.
