Review of The Grey (2012) by Metalsand — 08 Jul 2015
While the plot development and dialogue can be cheesy at times, Liam Neeson does the best acting I've ever seen out of it. I don't have any preference with Neeson; I've liked him in some movies and....well Taken 3 exists, guys. Come on now.
Anyways, while the movie has various small flaws throughout, it does give rise to some interesting thoughts and covers some interesting issues. Of course, it would be nice if certain plot devices were more believable, if you want a drama movie and you don't mind the multiple hiccups along the way, I'd say it's definitively worth watching. Until I saw some of his acting later on, I was actually going to give this movie a 4 or a 5 and changed my mind after finishing the movie, so unless you hate the movie from the start, I'd recommend sticking with it until the credits roll.
