Review of The Grey (2012) by Bikerjames — 29 Jan 2012
Although depressing, I never got bored. Like most survival films, it has the stereotypical cast of characters, especially the annoying one that argues constantly with the others. They never seem to be the ones that die initially.
The performances are solid, but the run time seems a little long for an intense movie. For me it doesn't have the repeatability factor - I have no desire to ever see the film again, but it is well made.
The plane crash seems realistic, the weather makes you feel chilly, and the wolves give you goose bumps. It just seemed like I've seen it all before.
