Review of The Green Slime (1968) by Caleb M — 03 Jan 2011
As far as cheese ball sci-fi flicks go, you could do a lot worse on a late Saturday night than The Green Slime! This US/Japanese co-production offers the best of the worst from both countries: campy performances from the English-speaking actors, and some memorably bad effects from the Japanese.
Some of the effects aren't terrible, but actually pretty neat. It's interesting to see the result of this cross-cultural collaboration, though the results are less than spectacular, the premise isn't half bad.
Remake?
