Review of The Green Slime (1968) by Tim S — 07 Aug 2017

The Green Slime turned out be just a slight touch better than I was expecting it to be. The film, while being dreadful in the dialogue and story department, is actually quite colorful and features lots of cool shots and camera movements, not to mention old-fashioned special effects that are both quaint and charming.

Nothing is amazing, by any means, but I expected a boring-looking movie, and it wasn't that. It's trite because of the material (and the fact that they have to throw a love triangle in there for drama), but it looks much better than many of its contemporaries.

And it has a groovy theme song too.
