Review of The Green Prince (2014) by Carlos M — 22 Nov 2014
I cannot recommend this movie enough. The Middle East Conflict never seemed so personal and human. Innumerable ironies fill this story of the son of Hamas' founder. He betrayed his father to protect him and had him arrested for the same reason.
He left Palestine to have a life in America only to find the only way he could be free from his past was to expose it all. The fact this almost killed him also revealed the depth of friendship his Israeli Intelligence handler showed him, a man whose own moral and human compass forced him to defy the rules.
A truly great film about an epic life still unfolding in our time.
