Review of The Green Mile (1999) by Trey D — 12 May 2012
One of the most moving and engrossing films in recent years. The way it plays with so many topics with such a diverse set of characters is incredible, and it is in my opinion a more balanced and confident film than "The Shawshank Redmption.
" It takes its time and you enjoy every second of it. Nothing sticks out to me as unnecessary, all the moments you spend with the characters establishes them and familiarizes you with them which makes the ending that much more meaningful.
Quite a film, I recommend you check this one out ASAP.
