Review of The Green Mile (1999) by Kate H — 16 Dec 2012
This movie was created to make me feel awful. I've watched it plenty of times before and every time I feel like a horrible human being at the end of it the same way that Paul does. Sometimes there is nothing to be done - especially when it's something that the person you want to help wants.
This is one of the best Stephen King films out there as well as one of the most faithful adaptations I've seen of a novel. It's a very simple story with this one fantastic element and the movie is just like nothing else.
That's even by Stephen King standards.
