Review of The Green Mile (1999) by Tim K — 25 Sep 2013
The Green Mile is a very good movie that I was really surprised by. What are really drives this film is the dramatic depth and it being nearly wholly original. All the acting in this movie is flawless and, Michael Clarke Duncan definitely steals the show as the unforgettable character, John Coffey (just like the drink, only not spelt the same). Tom Hanks was also great. It's really safe to say that The Green Mile is a very good Prison Drama (with amazing spiritual depth too). Although, this movie does have problems. There are a few plotholes in this film and I though the ending was kind of anti-climactic.
But overall, The Green Mile is a very good movie that I highly recommend!
