Review of The Green Inferno (2014) by Ray B — 01 Aug 2016
Minor spoiler, not that it matters. This movie is an entertaining yet brutal spectacle that will have you eating vegetables and avoiding all pork products for a while. Sadly however, the cinematic value greatly depreciates when the group drugs the entire cannibal village with less than half a gram of weed.
They shove a small baggy of weed down their dead friends neck in hopes of "spiking" the tribes entrée. At this point the movie resembles a Broken Lizard production but falls short there as well.
One star for quality makeup and gore fx. Otherwise it bites.
