The Green Inferno's ultimate downfall is that it is short on torture and desperation, and on the other hand has too many *funny* bits, an elaborate super unrealistic weed joke, and apart from one very awesome dismemberment scene the rest is always cut too quickly and therefore betrays the idea of the classics it tries to mimic.
just like hostel it just doesn't quite get there. disappointing.
