Review of The Green Hornet (2011) by Jon D — 11 Jan 2013
Silly actioner based on the early radio serials and 60s TV show. There are occasions where Seth Rogen's trademark goofy charm or a visual flourish from Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind director Michel Gondry shine through, and there's an entertaining Pink Panther-esque scrap between Rogen and partner Jay Chou.
But in general, the tone is too uneven and Rogen, who also co-wrote, is miscast in his least likeable role.
