Review of The Green Hornet (2011) by Bren A — 06 Jul 2012
Perhaps it was because I had low expectations but "The Green Hornet" pleasantly surprised me. I liked Seth Rogen as the affable hero and Jay Chou as his "sidekick" Kato. While the plot was familiar, most superhero/comic book movies are familiar.
There's going to be a hero. There's going to a villain. The hero and villain are going to fight and the hero is going to prevail. Still, it's entertaining to see it played out on screen. "The Green Hornet" is certainly not my favorite comic book movie.
It's not even in the conversation. But, if you're looking for an entertaining, action-packed movie I'd recommend putting it on your Netflix queue.
