Review of The Green Hornet (2011) by Cory E — 11 Aug 2012
The script has some holes in it, but it's an enjoyably funny movie anyway. Jay Chou is awesome as Kato, and I like Christopher Waltz more and more with each movie I see him in. The special effects are lacking a bit of believability at times too.
It's really hard for me not to compare this movie to Iron Man - rich playboy owns a multi-million dollar company and uses his vast assets to fight crime - and when you compare the two, The Green Hornet loses in a landslide.
See it as a matinee, save some money - you could do better.
