Review of The Green Hornet (2011) by Sari P — 19 Jan 2012
One mess of a movie. When the humor works, it works, but when it doesn't, it falls down hard. Thankfully the action sequences are very very well done or else the whole thing would've fallen apart.
Rogen does his usual Rogen thing, Chou's a badass, Diaz is withering faster than a dying rose and Waltz, well, he takes his usual charm-menacing-ness and just takes it to a new kooky level, nowhere near Hans Landa-status though.
Overall, it's worth watching once, maybe even twice, but it's by no means a great film. Just a decent one.
