Review of The Green Hornet (2011) by Masterp9 M — 10 Feb 2012
I actually found the concept of Green Hornet refreshing. The hero was, yes, a rich dude (like Batman), but was not the hero type, he literally stumbles onto his new career. Seth Rogen was perfect for this part.
Part douchebag, part guy who just wants to do something meaningful. The other interesting aspect is that they are pretending to be villains, but are actually saving the day. Nice spin on the classic superhero movie.
Jay Chou was a great Kato, he was a perfect choice. Cameron Diaz was...Cameron Diaz. But, this movie reaffirmed my love for Christoph Waltz. Although this time, I didn't really know what the accent was this time haha.
But the character was a bad guy, who has a sick (yet funny) sense of humor. I love this guy! Overall, it was a little slow, the gadgets were cool, and the plot was interesting enough. But I have seen better.
