Review of The Green Butchers (2003) by Joao F — 21 Jan 2015
Another Scandinavian dark comedy that takes the meat cake. Cannibalism done in good taste, Sweeney Todd it ain't< the insanity, and incompetence is more subtle in this slow burn tasty. Character development is strong and you might find you self rooting for the underdogs, and hoping the archetypical authorities and local-yo-cals get their comeuppances.
