Loved it!!! John Wayne is one of my heroes and had Betsy let me, I was going to put a life size poster of him in our apartment living room to scare away intruders. However, my roommate was not a JW fan at the time and couldn't be prevailed upon to give in.
She's since become one of his biggest fans, in the words of a famous country singer. Typically, the movie has a lot of profanity and a lot of fighting. Peterson's relationship with the boy is what makes the ending so heartrending.
