Review of The Greatest Showman (2017) by Karen W — 20 Apr 2018
Critics are like weathermen, they get paid to get it wrong all the time. Maybe its over their heads that it is a made up storyline LOOSELY based on PT Barnum. It's Not a biography. It is a story of being accepted for who you are and not let people bring you down.
To not care of other peoples judgement of you. To Fight and Stand up for what you believe in and don't take no for an answer That Work is important but not at the cost of your family. The music was sensational, dancing was flawless.
I haven't felt the need to purchase a dvd in a long time but I will being buying this one. I have already bought the soundtrack and listen to it every day. Even my construction worker husband listens to it! Much better than the crap that's on the radio now.
I love this movie. Should have won every award. Hugh Jackman rocks at 49 years old and can keep up with the kids. Their enthusiasm is infectious. You will be singing these songs for days. Michael Gracey knocked it out of the park.
