The critics are totally missing the point of this movie. It's a beautiful old fashioned musical. It's not a biopic or a historical documentary. The word of mouth is great, as it should be. At one point one of the characters refers to Barnums show as a "celebration of humanity.
" *That* is what this film is and it's an absolute joy to behold.
