What a huge let down.There was not one single original moment here.There are clearly people here that have no clue about Photography. It was dreadful. Everything was so clouded and filtered. The costumes were so uncertain to be authentic or fantasy, terrible either way.
The film sets up a scene that we will be meeting the greatest opera singer of the time.What we get is hardly opera but don't ask me what she is meant to be.As for the choreography, did I actually witness moves and steps so out of line with the period.
Even the make up was atrocious,bright red lips and false eyelashes.The filmspent a lot of money on a first time director. It will die at the box office. A Moulin Rouge it aint. Tries to be but fails Les Miserably.
