This film is utterly charming and the passion Hugh Jackman brought to the project is utterly infectious. The songs are loud and boombastic and had me downloading the soundtrack the second the credits rolled.
The critical reviews are mind boggling in their skewing to the negative. I honestly believe that a critic being an antagonist and personal politics played a large role in the cynicism levelled at it. The perfect film for a family movie night IMHO.
