Review of The Greatest Show on Earth (1952) by Kerby H — 27 Apr 2013
It is well-acted, and sometimes charming and visually outstanding, but Cecil B. DeMille's The Greatest Show on Earth (and his only Best Picture winner) is pompous, over-melodramatic, filled with boring characters and a plot that never seems able to be stable.
At the end, it is quite forgettable.
