Review of The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005) by Judy B — 06 Dec 2007
While this may be a golf movie, it certainly was NOT boring. The cinematography of the film was fantastic. I can't imagine how they got certain shots, but they looked great. Shia LaBeouf often credits this film as his transition film from a child actor (Even Stevens) to an adult one and with good reason.
He is quite good in this film and steps out of his usual "teenager" role. That being said, the story is based on a real one and is very inspirational. Overall, a good sports film, even if golf isn't my favorite sport.
