Review of The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005) by Danny C — 14 Apr 2008
This would be your typical against all odds "rocky status' come from behind inspirational sports movie. I really liked it though, this genre is always a hit and miss but I definetly think this one was a hit.
I think its Shia LaBeouf that really made the difference for the longest time I hated him but I think hes growing up and maturing and stepping away from the hell that is even stevens, hes very much the leo dicaprio of the next generation.
the more I see him the more I warm up to him (and believe me I was quite cold to him before). This also had some great camera work and artistic shots that are more than mentionable. its not the greatest sports story ever told but it is definetly worth your time.
