I admit that I'm a sucker for a good, inspirational sports film (see e.g., Seabiscuit and Cinderella Man). In spite of some unnecessary CG shots in this film (why the ladybug on the golf ball?!?), this movie really soars (bad pun intended).

Shia LeBeouf is actually quite compelling as is the majority of the cast here. Costumes and set design are top notch and the score captures perfectly the heart of this movie. Golf enthusiasts and non-enthusiasts alike will appreciate this lovely little film that reminds us of a very popular Disney theme: Dreams do come true!
